Small Groups

Engage in meaningful relationships by doing life together. Be a part of each others lives, fellowships, and be on mission together. It is in the context of these groups that genuine community and growth begins to happen.

WE BELIEVE YOU CAN'T DO LIFE ALONE

Are you looking for a way to get connected to other people in our church? If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus and take next steps, you need people surrounding you to encourage you, challenge you, and be there for you. Small Groups are a great opportunity for you to get connected to our church and take your relationship with Christ to the next level!

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Groups are all about people doing life together and striving to be followers of Christ. Some of our groups meet Sunday mornings, some Sunday evenings, Tuesday mornings, and Wednesday evenings. At each meeting you will have a leader that leads the discussion and offers up questions for the group to answer. The goal for all of your group meetings is to grow closer to Christ and each other as we discern together how to grow His Kingdom. In addition to our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening small groups, we also have these groups:

TUESDAY MORNING LADIES BIBLE STUDY

A diverse and fun group of ladies that meet every Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the conference room beside the main Church office.

Any and all ages are welcome! They usually do a women's study that incorporates daily, personal reading with weekly video sessions and discussion. For more information contact Beba Romano or email her HERE. Our current study is on Elijah by Priscilla Shrirer.

UNITED METHODIST MEN

Helping men grow in Christ so others may know Christ. The ministry of men in the local church is defined as a core group of men, partnering with their pastor, to invite and initiate spiritual growth opportunities for all men of the church. Everyone has different gifts, graces and areas of interest. Therefore, opportunities for participation would include diverse ministries of the church, such as prayer groups, missions, Bible studies, retreats, workshops/seminars, small groups in the Wesleyan tradition, leading and participating on committees, teaching Sunday school classes, youth ministries, scouting, mentoring and assisting in leading worship service. The focus is not inward, concentrating only on those who attend a set meeting, but outward to all men, assisting them to engage the process of spiritual growth.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

Turning Faith, Hope and Love into Action! United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leadership, and advocating for justice.

FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE

The Friendship Circle is our local UMW group that meets the second Tuesday evening of every month at 6pm during the school year. All ladies are invited to join each month as they fellowship together with food and Bible Study. In addition to their monthly meetings, the Friendship Circle takes on several local mission projects each year. They are a highly motivated and active group of women. Contact Sue Freeman at csumc.business@gmail.com for meeting locations and directions.
