During the past spring and summer, our congregation met several times to gain information concerning disaffiliation from the United Methodist Church. After much prayerful consideration, we voted to disaffiliate. We are confident that this decision will not interrupt what God is doing in our church family and through our ministries. 

We anticipate that the vote of the UMC Mississippi Conference on December 9 will accept our request, so the CSUMC Administrative Council has begun meeting to consider our options.
